Village CouncilThe Village Charter establishes a Council-Manager form of government with an elected Village Council composed of a Mayor and four Council members whom exercise legislative authority over the Village. The Mayor and Village Council members are elected at large to four year revolving terms of office. Village Council meets two times monthly on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 7:30 PM. A Village Manager / Administrator is appointed by the Village Council to direct and manage the municipal organization and services, and to advise and assist Village Council as directed. Council MeetingAll meetings of Council unless otherwise noted are held on the second floor of Village Hall. Meetings are also televised locally on Adelphia Cable Channel 21. Meetings are open to the public. Council work sessions are held at 7:00 PM prior to Council Meetings. Council Work Sessions are also held on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 4:30 PM. Village AdministratorThe Village Administrator is appointed by Village Council and serves as the Chief Executive Officer for the Village. The administrator provides for the overall management of the Village organization and is responsible for the Villages operation in accordance with the Village Charter, including those policies, programs and regulations established by Village Council. The Administrator is also responsible for initiating proposals, provide advice, and information to Village Council with regard to Municipal Policies, practices and projects.
